Michael M. Cicchella, Jr.
Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer
Michael is Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer for Centuri Group, Inc.
In this role he manages several corporate support services including Information Technology, Fleet, Supply Chain, Project Management Office, and Facilities. In addition, Michael leads Corporate Development focused on identifying high quality companies aligned with Centuri’s core values to acquire and integrate, growing and diversifying the business in accordance with Centuri’s long-term strategic goals.
Michael joined Centuri in 2016 as Senior Vice President & Chief Administrative Officer. A former Army Officer, Michael brings over 20 years of leadership experience managing the support services of Risk, Safety, IT, HR, Fleet, Supply Chain, Facilities, Project Management, as well as significant experience leading Mergers & Acquisitions and associated integration, and Strategic Planning efforts in both public and privately held utility services and construction companies ranging in size from $30 million to over $1 billion. Prior to Centuri, Michael worked for 11 years in executive management roles at portfolio companies of a utility services infrastructure private equity fund including: Senior Vice President & General Manager of InfraSource Underground Services, Vice President & CAO for InfraSource, Inc., a union/open shop utility infrastructure contractor with over 6,000 employees taken public by the private equity owner; Vice President & CAO of Elgin National Industries, Inc., an engineering, construction, and manufacturing company with offices in Australia, Poland, India, China, and Indonesia; Senior Vice President & CAO of Integrated Pipeline Services, Inc. a group of pipeline construction companies; and most recently before joining Centuri, Executive Vice President & CAO of Osmose Holdings, a utilities services, railroad services, and chemical manufacturing company. In addition, Michael has also held the roles as Manager of Corporate Services for Burns & Wilcox, Ltd., and began his civilian career as General Manager for Michigan Trenching Service, Inc. after eight years serving as an officer in the United States Army.
Michael has a M.B.A. and B.A. in political science from the University of Michigan, as well as hundreds of hours of advanced leadership training from the U.S. Army Air Defense School. His leadership roles in the Army included Battery Commander, Battalion Logistics Officer, Brigade Plans Officer, Battery Executive Officer, and Platoon Leader, with deployments for 15 months in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
